The NEEDS Balochistan
The National Educational & Environmental Development Society (NEEDS) is a well-established social and environmental development organization based in Naseerabad, Balochistan. Founded in 2002, we are registered under the Social Welfare Ordinance of 1961. With a dedicated team and a deep understanding of local challenges, NEEDS strives to improve the lives of marginalized communities through various developmental projects and initiatives.

Advocacy
Engaging with key stakeholders including district government officials, community leaders, media, judiciary, and educational institutions to promote issues related to education, health, human rights, and environment.
Service Delivery
Establishing schools, providing emergency relief to disaster-affected communities, and enhancing the capacity of local communities and partner organizations through training and development.
Coordination
Creating networks with NGOs, CSOs, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and collective action for social betterment.

THE NEEDS
Since its inception, NEEDS has been at the forefront of community empowerment in Balochistan, implementing projects that span across various thematic areas such as:
Women’s Social and Economic Development
Skills Enhancement
Health Awareness
Urban Waste Management
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Reproductive Health
Refugee Support and Rehabilitation
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
We have worked on numerous successful projects, including emergency assistance, gender justice initiatives, urban waste management, and many more, with the support of national and international partners.
